KIYOSHI PLAYERS POST A WIN, T2 AND 4TH PLACE FINISH

CHICAGO, IL, JUNE 26, 2019: OBAN’s hot streak on Tour continues with a 4th place finish at the Travelers Championship and a win and T2 in Wichita. Swinging a Kiyoshi Purple shaft in his Ping G400 driver, the 43-year-old Virginia native birdied his final five holes to claim sole possession of 4th place. Across the plains at Crestview Country Club, the 32-year-old Swede played a Kiyoshi Tour Limited in his TaylorMade M-Series driver and 3-wood, surviving a 5-man playoff to top the leaderboard. On the heels of a victory at the Rex Hospital Open earlier in June, the 29-year-old Denmark native used a Kiyoshi Black 65 X in this TaylorMade M-Series driver, eliminated in the playoff to finish the tournament T2.

Kiyoshi Purple’s unique structure delivers high launch and low spin for longer distance and tighter dispersion. The shaft is fabricated using OBAN’s unique Emersion Wrapped Frequency (EWF) Technology, enabling significantly improved torque control, bend points and stability, with less ovalization.

The Kiyoshi Tour Limited represents the culmination of years of research and development. The shaft offers unprecedented control and extraordinary feel for players seeking to improve accuracy and distance.

OBAN’s Kiyoshi Black was designed using a straight taper profile. The shaft utilizes OBAN’s exclusive Emersion Wrapped Frequency (EWF) Technology, a lower torque, and extra stiffness in the butt section of the shaft to offer a low spin and a mid-launch trajectory.
