CHICAGO, IL, FEBRUARY 25, 2019: The highly anticipated OBAN Steel CT-125 shafts, introduced at the 2019 PGA Merchandise Show, debuted on Tour earlier this month delivering a T9 finish at Riviera Country Club. The 30-year-old Texas native played the CT-125 shafts (5-PW) in his Callaway irons.
Made in Japan, OBAN’s constant weight – taper tip iron shafts are manufactured to exacting specifications and tolerances. Cold extrusion, and the purity of Japanese steel combine to create a seamless responsive shaft with a uniquely smooth swing sensation. The Tour inspired innovative structure features a micro-taper step pattern and distinctive chromium finish.
The new CT-125, available this summer, rounds out the popular CT-Series line, currently available in 100 and 115 gram weights. The heavier weight offers a stable profile for faster swing speeds, mid-high launch and low-mid spin.
